THE SAINTS ARE HARVESTED (TRANSFIGURED, REDEEMED, RAPTURED) AT THE LAST TRUMPET

1Cor 15:51-53 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed--in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

The Great Multitude appear in Heaven after the sixth seal is opened.
The saints will be handed over to the beast and persecuted for 1260 days or 42 months, times time and time and a half.
Christ tells us in Matthew 24 that the rapture will be immediately after the distress of those days.
When the seventh trumpet sounds, Christ's coming will usher in His Millennial Kingdom and God's wrath on the Nations is complete.
The rapture, the first resurection and the second coming of Christ are firmly linked.
Christ will defeat the Antichrist when he comes. This will put an end to the Great Tribulation.
The Church is spared from the bowls of God's wrath which follow the Rapture
This is all consistent with the rapture being at the seventh (or last) trumpet.
The 'last trumpet' in 1Cor 15, therefore, corresponds to Seventh Trumpet in Revelation.

CHRIST'S MILLENNIAL REIGN STARTS WITH THE SEVENTH TRUMPET

Rev 10:7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."

Rev 11:15-19 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."  And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: "We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.  The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great-- and for destroying those who destroy the earth."  Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

Christ comes when the seventh angel sounds his trumpet. Not only does this usher in Christ's eternal kingdom, but it coincides with the Wrath on the Nations.

THE SAINTS, DEAD AND ALIVE, ARE RAPTURED WHEN CHRIST COMES

1Thes 4:13-18  Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.  We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.  According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage each other with these words.

When Christ comes at the Last Trumpet, the dead in Christ will rise first. Thern those who are still alive will be raptured into His presence.

THE ANTICHRIST IS DEFEATED WHEN CHRIST COMES

2Thes 2:7-10 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.  And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.  The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,  and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

2Thessalonians 2:8 tells us that the Lord will overthrow and destroy the man of lawlessness by the breath of his mouth and the splendor of his coming.  This can leave us with no doubt that Christ's return is at the end of the great tribulation which is the beginning of his millennial reign.  People who teach post millennialism are thus in error. We, the believers, are not in heaven and the devil is not locked up in the abyss where he can no longer cause trouble. Thus the millennium cannot have started.  The Bible therefore foretells of the premillennial return of Jesus Christ.  The return of Christ and the Millennium are, no doubt, in the future (at the time of writing of this document!).

The Great Multitude in White Robes are raptured when the seventh seal is opened

Revelations 7:9 - 8:1 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

The Seventh Seal (Rev 8:1) corresponds to the Harvest of the Great Multitude (Rev 7:9-17). The Great multitude are those who have come out of the great tribulation. In other word, they went through the great tribulation and the Harvest is post-tribulation. Their robes have been washed white in the blood of the Lamb meaning that they were Christians.
The Seventh Seal, the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Bowl (Armageddon) correspond to the end of this Age and the beginning of the Millennium (Rev 11:15).
The rapture is said to take place in the twinkling of an eye (1Cor 15:51-2) at the Last Trumpet.
When the Bowls of God's wrath are poured out, the Church is no longer on Earth. The Church is harvested in by two angels in Revelations 14. Those who are harvested by the first angel appear in Heaven (Revelations Ch 15). Subsequent to this, the Bowls of God's Wrath are poured out on those who remain on Earth after the rapture (Revelations Ch 15-18).
The Millennium is immediately preceded by the Day of the Lord when Christ comes with His army of Redeemed Saints to defeat the Beast and the False Prophet and to Strike Down the Nations (Rev 19)- at least those who have the mark of the beast.
In Revelation 19, a great multitude appear in Heaven, a wedding takes place and then Christ Returns to strike down the beast and the false prophet and the kings of the Nations. He is followed by and Army of believers who are clothed in white. This is the Battle of Armageddon. In this battle the pagans / nations have surrounded Jerusalem and are struck down by the sword that came out of the Rider on the White Horse: Christ the Word of God.

Two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days, then the seventh trumpet sounds. Gentiles trample the Holy city for 42 months, then the seventh trumpet sounds.

Revelation Chapter 11:1-19 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon. The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great— and for destroying those who destroy the earth.” Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

The seventh trumpet follows the second woe / sixth trumpet.
Two witnesses will prophesy for 1260 days - then comes the seventh trumpet.
The Gentiles (Pagans) will trample the Holy City for 42 months - then comes the seventh trumpet.

The Earth is harvested by two angels, one like the son of man and one who is in charge of the fire. Those who are harvested by the first angel like the son of man appear in heaven. Those harvested by the angel in charge of the fire go to hell. This is the Harvest of the Wheat and the Tares at the end of the Age. The Church will thus be removed from the Earth leaving the Pagans (unbelievers in the Nations) behind on Earth and the Jews (144000 have been sealed and protected from the wrath to come)

Revelation 14:14-8:1 I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one “like a son of man” with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
Another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, “Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth’s vine, because its grapes are ripe.” The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses’ bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.

I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagueslast, because with them God’s wrath is completed. And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed
.” After this I looked and in heaven the temple, that is, the tabernacle of the Testimony, was opened. Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed

The Earth is harvested by two angels, one like the son of man and one who is in charge of the fire. Those who are harvested by the first angel 'like the son of man' appear in heaven. Those harvested by the angel in charge of the fire go to hell. This is the Harvest of the Wheat and the Tares at the end of the Age. The Church will thus be removed from the Earth leaving the Pagans (unbelievers in the Nations) behind on Earth and the Jews (144000 have been sealed and protected from the wrath to come).
The saints appear in heaven and give praise to god who is about to pour out the seven bowls of his wrath upon the Pagans / Nations of the Earth who were left behind after the Harvest.

A great multitude in heaven celebrate and take part in the wedding of the Bride and The Lamb. They become an army lead by Christ; the word of God. Out of his mouth comes a sword with which to strike down the Pagans (Nations), unleashing the Wrath of God. They fought the beast and the kings of the Earth who were defeated and thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is immediately followed by the Millennium.

Revelation 19:1-20:5 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” And again they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.” The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried: “Amen, Hallelujah!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both small and great!” Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.” Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

The Great multitude in heaven becomes the Bride of Christ. This Warrior Bride of Christ, The Armies of Heaven are lead by the Word of God and defeat the Beast and the false prophet and the Kings of the Earth. This is the Battle of Armageddon (not to be confused with the Battle of Gog and Magog at the end of the millennium).

the Day of the Lord

In the parable of the sheep and the goats, the Nations are gathered before Christ and his Angels. The Nations (pagans) are divided into two groups called the Sheep and the Goats according to how they have treated God's people "these little ones of mine". This is almost certainly the same event described in Revelations 19 which is after the Rapture of the believers as the Great Multitude is in Heaven and the Wedding has taken place.

mark of the beast book of life

Zechariah Ch 14 tells us that there will be Jews and Pagans who survive God's wrath and go in into the Millennium to repopulate the Earth. The Jews that survive Armageddon are the 144000 that were sealed by God sometime between the sixth and the seventh seal which is also when the great multitude was harvested.
The Bible says that all who receive the mark of the beast will receive eternal punishment in hell. It, therefore, follows that those nations on Earth during the Millennium and in Eternity did not receive the Mark of the Beast.

DANIEL TELLS US THAT 'From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.  Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.'

Daniel 12:1-13  "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.   But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.

Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.  Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.  But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."  Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.  One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?"  The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed."  I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?"  He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.  Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.  Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. "As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance."

last days

The the second coming of Christ and the Harvest of the Earth and the Bowl Judgments on the Nations on the Day of the Lord occur in quick succession over a short period of time.   While it is not clear from Revelation just how long it is between these events, the Book of Daniel (Dan 12:11-12) would suggest that these events span no more than 75 days.

THE END OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION IS THE END OF THIS AGE

Dan 7:25   He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

Daniel 9:22-27  He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.  As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the message and understand the vision:  "Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.  "Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.  After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.  He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

70 weeks of daniel

CHRIST COMES AT THE END OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION & Daniel's 70th week is not only in the future, it preceeds the return of christ

MATT 24:3-51 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"  Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.  For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, ' and will deceive many.  You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.  Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains.  "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.  At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,  and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.  Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,  but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.  "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel--let the reader understand-- then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.  Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house.  Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.  How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!   Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.   For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.  If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.   At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it.   For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.   See, I have told you ahead of time.  "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.   For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.  Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.  " Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'  "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.  And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.   "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.   Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.  I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.  "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;  and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.  Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.   "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.  So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.  "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?  It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.  I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.  But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away a long time,' and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.  The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.  He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus tells us here that the rapture will take place at the trumpet call of his angels 'immediately after' the distress of those days. We must be watchful because we do not know on what day the Lord will come. 'Immediately after' implies a Post Tribulation rapture.
In this passage, Jesus also tells us that the Last week of Daniel is in the Future and will immediatly preceed His coming.
