Prayers of Salvation

Lord Jesus, forgive me, for I am a sinner.  Please wash me clean and baptize me with your Spirit.  Come into my heart and fill me.  Take control of every part of my life.  I give everything over to you.

Thank you for dying for me on the cross.  I repent of my sins.  I want to follow you.  Come into my life and fill me with you Spirit.  I want to be your child.  Please baptize me with your Spirit.

Thank you for loving me and sending your son Jesus to die on the cross.  Please wash my sins away and give me your Spirit so that I can live a new life in You.

Father, forgive me for all my sins.  Wash me and cleanse me.  Heal my wounds.  Give me joy and peace.  Make me like you.  Set me free from the past.  Come into my life right now and make me a Christian.

Today, I give my life over to you.  Mould me and make me what you will.  I ask to be baptized with your Spirit.  I want to become a child of God.  Thank you for sending your son to die on the cross for me.  Forgive me of my sins.  I confess that I am just a miserable sinner.  I can only be saved by your mercy and grace.

Today, I confess my love for you.  Cleanse me of my sin and wash me clean.  Take away my sin and heal my pain.  Give me a new life in you.

Jesus, I confess that you are the one true God.  The only God that can save me.  I want You to be the Lord of my life.  Please forgive me of my sins and Baptize me in your Spirit so I can be Born Again.

Seeking guidance

I love you Lord and trust you to save me.  There is nobody else like you. I put my faith in you alone.  Guide my every step.  Be a lamp unto my path.

Show me your will, Oh Lord.  Impart your ways unto me.  I want to be faithful to you.  Give me a pure heart.  Take any impurities that still remain in me.

Lord, I want to see your face and know your heart.  Reveal yourself unto me.

Forgive me for taking my eyes off you.  Pick me up when I fall.

Lord, help me get back on track.  Show me the right thing to do.

Trusting God

Lord, I trust in you. I know that you will never fail me.  Help me in my time of need.

Lord, watch over me and protect me.  Do not let me fall.  I trust in you with all my heart.  There is no one else who can save me.

You are my Lord and God.  I trust in you.  You know what is best for me.  You will look after me.  Everything will be OK.  I will just wait for you.

I love you Lord.  There is no other God like you.  Only you can save me.  I put my faith in you.

Praising God

Jesus, your name is above all names.  You are the maker of the universe.  You formed me in my mother's womb.  You knew me before I was born.  I cannot live without you.  You gave me life.  You took away my sin and gave me peace.  Life is pretty meaningless without you.

Lord, you are Holy and righteous.  Your love is amazing.  Thank you for saving me.

Praise you Lord.  I am so unworthy.  Thank you for revealing yourself to me.

God of the second, third and fourth chance.  I praise your name.  Thank you for not forsaking me.  Mercy, truth and righteousness belong to you.  I love you with all my heart.

Thanking God

Thank you for revealing yourself to me.  Thank you for first loving me.

Thank you for your word.  Thank you for the Church.

Thank you for the food on the table, the clothes on our back and the house we live in.

Thank you for peace, prosperity and health.

Thank you for taking away my sin.

Thank you for the air we breath, the flowers and the trees.

Thank you for parents and children.

Thank you for our education.

Thank you for our jobs.

Thanks for giving us a purpose greater than ourselves.

Thanks for all our friends and family.

Thanks for forgiving us when we forget about you.

Thanks for saving our souls.

Praying in the spirit

You know my heart Oh Lord.  You know my every thought.  Give me the words to express myself.

When I am confused, Oh Lord, I will sing to you with my spirit.

When I don't know what to pray, let my tongue express the condition of my soul.  Give voice to my spirit.  Enable me to pray in the spirit that I may be filled with you.

I will praise your name.  Let your Spirit speak to me.

Let me sing to you with my spirit.  Let me commune with you.  Fill me with your Spirit Lord.  Change my very being.

Wash me and cleanse me.  Transform my soul.  Make me like you.

Teach my soul.  Give me understanding.

PRAY FOR THE TIMES IN WHICH WE LIVE

Lord, We Thank you.  We Love you.  We Praise you.

All glory be to you.

Lord, we seek your face.  Open our eyes.

Help us to see and understand what is in your heart.

The days we live in are evil.

We know you are coming soon, the signs that you told us about are here.

Save us from this evil age.

Help us to overcome the world and follow you.

Pour out your Spirit Lord.

Send revival

Lord Save our city and our nation

JESUS is the only name in Heaven or Earth by which we can be saved

Save us from this materialistic society

Many consider it to be the lucky country

Yet poverty, homelessness and family breakdown is rising

It is getting harder to succeed

The penalty for failure is high

Domestic Violence, Child abuse, Drug addiction, Alcoholism, Mental illness, Suicide and Divorce are in epidemic proportions

Roles of men and women are changing

Feminism has blossomed

Women want it both ways.

Men don't know where they stand.

Homosexuality is rife

Law and order is breaking down

War and Terrorism surround us

We do terrible things because we fear and do not love

There is no authority of Man that is free from corruption

In whom can we trust?

We are becoming a Godless society

We behave no better than animals

We are self seeking

LORD SAVE US FROM OURSELVES

HELP US TO OVERCOME THIS WORLD

WE PUT OUR TRUST IN YOU

NOBODY ELSE CAN SAVE US

FORGIVE US

CLEANSE US

FILL US

&

BLESS US

HELP US TO LEAD THOSE AROUND US WHO ARE DYING TO YOU

HELP US TO FORGIVE

HELP US TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER

HELP US TO REMEMBER WHAT WE ONCE WERE

HELP US NOT TO JUDGE EACH OTHER

HELP US TO TRUST IN YOU

YOU, O  LORD, WILL AVENGE US

JUDGMENT BELONGS TO YOU

Dear God our Eternal Father, A great hostility is rising all over the world against your gospel and against your Church. Despite a decade of high-powered, economically-driven political advocacy for religious freedom, persecution of Christians is increasing in frequency, scope and intensity. Furthermore, because of geopolitical and economic changes, we are finding ourselves increasingly helpless (in earthly terms) to prevent it or even just escape it. Hardship, suffering, vulnerability and despair are spreading.
Father, we ask you to fill us with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that amidst whatever this world and the prince of this world might throw at us, we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to you, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
May those who are suffering and facing trials, hardships and even genocidal violence on account of Jesus Christ and his gospel be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. May the Spirit fill them with assurance of their salvation and an anticipation of their great inheritance in the Kingdom of God's Son. May the Holy Spirit lift their heads, restore their souls and draw them into prayer. May the Father answer their prayers, deliver them from evil and increase their faith.
Father, by your mighty power and in your amazing gracious love and mercy, purge us of all worldliness, idolatry, faithlessness and unfaithfulness, that we might be the beautiful bride you so desire. Open our eyes and ears and soften our hearts to your will. Fill us with brotherly love for all our brethren. Sanctify us. Refine us in these dark days and strengthen us for the darker days that lie ahead. May the devil have no victory over us. May your glory be revealed in all the earth. AMEN (based on Colossians 1:9-14, Psalm 45:10,11 ESV.) QHAC
